Up Close Theatre is committed to protecting the health and safety of its members and the public.

The Directors will therefore take all reasonably practicable steps to ensure the safety of our members and the safety of others who might be affected by the running of the Group.

The Directors are committed to taking all reasonably practicable steps to assess risks and implement appropriate precautions. They will regularly review and revise arrangements as appropriate.

It is the responsibility of all those involved in Up Close Theatre to seek, so far as is reasonably practicable, to ensure that:

All accidents must be logged in the Accident/Incident Book and a full account of the circumstances given to the Company Manager. It is the Company Manager's ultimate responsibility to initiate any action which must be taken as a result of the accident, or to ensure that the appropriate action takes place.

At Up Close Theatre, we recognise our duties under current Health & Safety legislation and we will endeavour to meet the requirements of this legislation and maintain a safe and healthy working environment. Our Directors and all employees are informed of their responsibilities to ensure they take all reasonable precautions, to ensure the safety, health and welfare of those that are likely to be affected by the operation of our business.

The Directors recognise their duty to make regular assessment of the hazards and risks created in the course of running Society/Group.
